Galveston Island

If you have more time, Galveston is a really fun day. You can grab food at Willie G's or Katie's seafood, hit the beach or visit the down town area. The down town strip has a lot of cute shops (Admiralty is my favorite). The down town strip also has a old time candy shop that stretches their taffy on Saturdays (La Kings). You can go on dolphin tours or visit the all wood ship used in pirates of the Caribbean, the Elissa.

Kemah Boardwalk

The Kemah Boardwalk is a classic Houston Attraction. Only than 5 miles from Space Center Houston, there fun activities for all ages and lots of food choices, including Tookie's Seafood and Tookie's Burgers

Fantastic food! It is all you can eat. You cook the meat in very flavorful broth. The beef tallow broth is great but very spicy. For something more familiar we recommend just the pork broth not spicy.
